Two pundits agree over Manchester United vs Brentford score prediction

Manchester United have redemption on their mind in more ways than one when they welcome high-flying Brentford to Old Trafford on Wednesday night (8pm). United have gone three matches without a win in the Premier League and they were humbled by the Bees in their corresponding fixture.

Goals from Josh Dasilva, Mathias Jensen, Ben Mee and Bryan Mbeumo settled the scores back in August at the Community Stadium in what was a jaw-dropping result for Erik ten Hag then new to the helm. However, the Dutchman has enjoyed much, much better days since then.

Despite their winless run, United are well-placed for Champions League qualification and already have their first trophy in the bag with further attempts to come. But it will be one game at a time for United as pundits share their predictions for this midweek showdown at Old Trafford;

"I called Newcastle's win over Manchester United on Sunday correctly and I do think Erik ten Hag's side are fading. They are still without suspended midfielder Casemiro for another two games, including this one, and they really miss him.

"Brentford smashed United at the start of the season and they still carry a goal threat now. I think the Bees will score this time, too, but United are usually better when they are here at Old Trafford, so I am going with them to edge it."
