Two people taken to hospital with 'minor' injuries following crash

Two people have been taken to Royal Oldham Hospital following a crash in Denshaw. Emergency services received a call regarding the collision on Rochdale Road at 11:41am on Wednesday (February 21).

Four people were treated at the scene including a teenage male. Two of the four patients treated were sent to Royal Oldham Hospital.

Their injuries have been described as 'minor'.

A picture posted by the GMP Oldham Division shows a Joseph Holt van behind the cordons with members of the force and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service securing the area.

A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 11:41 to reports of an RTC on Rochdale Road, Oldham. We sent a rapid response ambulance and an ambulance to the scene.

"We treated four patients at the scene, one a teenage male. Of the four patients, two patients with minor injuries were taken to Royal Oldham Hospital.

"I am afraid I don’t have any more info."
