Two crashes on major Carmarthenshire roads cause delays - live updates

Commuters are being warned of delays after accidents on two roads in Carmarthenshire on Friday morning. Part of the A48 is closed after an accident on the westbound carriageway between Porthyrhyd and the Llanddarog junction.

There are queues forming and traffic monitoring system Inrix is warning that it is affecting traffic heading towards Carmarthen. Traffic Wales are warning motorists to "avoid the area if possible" and have confirmed that emergency services are attending.
