Twitter unforgiving as Proteas fold to Australia despite Rabada heroics
It was a day to forget for the Proteas on Sunday as they lost to Australia by six wickets on the second day of the first Test at the Gabba in Brisbane.
While the pitch can best be described as a "green mamba", the Proteas batters never gave their bowlers much to work with after they were skittled out for 152 and 99.

With Australia chasing 34 to win, pace spearhead Kagiso Rabada produced an exceptional spell as he ended 4/13 in four overs as the home side went 1-0 up in the series.
Here's some of the best reaction on Twitter following South Africa's defeat:
With not much to work with, Rabada brought his A-game #AUSvSA
Came across this stat on fbKagiso Rabada has picked up 45 wickets @ 17.69 (31.0 SR) in last 8 away Test matches ????Unrelenting!! https://t.co/xJ8LhzOrdo
Proteas playing Eskom cricket. Stage 6, I’d say.
For the past 2-3 years, the Proteas have had a batting collapse in every series or world cup. It's either a horror collapse or our batsmen just don't turn up. I remember dismal batting performances vs Ire, SL, Pak, Ind, Eng, Ban & now Aus
#Proteas #sscricket #AUSvSA Not quite sure which is more embarrassing to SA cricket - The loss to Aus in under 2 days or the loss to Netherlands ??
What’s wrong with the proteas?

The proteas can’t be serious!??
#AUSvSA pathetic performance by Proteas. Just as well this abject capitulation happened at night
'Embarrassing' is trending in South Africa. I don't even need to check why, I can correctly guess that they're talking about the Proteas ??Except Kagiso 'KG' Rabada - he's out of this world! It's unbelievable how awesome he is in
