Proteas all-rounder Chloe Tryon is not concerned over the side's batting line-up despite their first Women's World Cup loss against Australia on Tuesday.
South Africa suffered a five-wicket defeat thanks to a stunning unbeaten century by Australia skipper Meg Lanning in Wellington.
After losing the toss, Proteas started off on a solid foot after an 88-run opening partnership between Lizelle Lee and Laura Wolvaardt.
Lee struggled to get on top of the fierce Aussie bowling attack as she was trapped lbw for 36 by spinner Alana King and batter Lara Goodall only managed 16 before falling victim to Annabel Sutherland (1/26).
Wolvaardt soon notched up her fourth consecutive half-century as she and skipper Sune Luus put on a 91-run third-wicket partnership to see South Africa past the 200-mark.
Wolvaardt fell agonisingly short of her first World Cup century as she fell for 90 off 134 balls (9 fours) to fast bowler Megan Schutt (1/55)
Luus departed for a well-played 52 and Mignon du Preez could only score 14 as all-rounders Marizanne Kapp (30*) and Tryon (17*) took South Africa to 271/7.
In reply, Lanning remained unbeaten on 135 off 130 balls to guide Australia home with 4.4 overs remaining and saw them remain unbeaten in the competition.

The Proteas have relied heavily on Wolvaardt at the top of the order as she currently is the second (350 runs) leading run-scorer of the tournament behind Lanning (358).
However, Tryon believes that it's just about getting more time out in the middle for players to adjust conditions in New Zealand.
