Troubled Eamonn Holmes in agony and using walking aid after 'hard' health admission and Ruth Langsford split

Eamonn Holmes appeared fragile yet determined as he was pictured out and using a walking aid following his split from Loose Women host Ruth Langsford.

Those who follow the former This Morning presenter will know he has been battling issues with chronic pain for the past few years. Eamonn discovered his condition was being caused by a dislocated pelvis and a trapped sciatic nerve after a number of hospital visits back in 2021.

The GB News host then underwent surgery in September 2022 to try to help relieve his pain. However, he suffered a fall during his recovery in which he fractured his shoulder and had to have more surgery.

Holmes hasn't shied away from sharing the difficulties surrounding managing his pain and subsequent mobility issues but appeared more positive earlier this month when he was seen without his walking aides.

He captioned a photo on his Instagram page, in which he’s wearing a smart shirt under a blue jumper, white trousers and blue shoes: "Hard to stand up but next my aim is to walk. Off to a birthday party today. What about you?"

Eamonn has since been seen grabbing some lunch with a friend at Sams Cafe in Primrose Hill, London. The broadcaster could be seen on Friday (July 12) sporting black jogging bottoms and a grey T-shirt was aided by a walker as he entered and left the restaurant.

As he left the café, the dad-of-four was seen using a walking frame in order to get from the door of the establishment to the car waiting for him.
