Olympics Podcast: Jessie Barr and David Gillick on life in the village and handling the hype

For the first episode of the daily RTÉ Olympics Podcast, Mikey Stafford is joined by David Gillick and Jessie Barr to discuss handling the hype, look ahead to the opening ceremony and try and predict how many medals Team Ireland can win.

Both Olympians at 400m, Jessie and David are now working at the Games in different capacities - Jessie as a performance psychologist with the Sport Ireland Institute and David as a reporter with RTÉ Sport.

They are well-placed to discuss the sociology of the Athletes' Village, the perils of walking too far at the Opening Ceremony and the spectre of doping that is never too far away from the Olympics.
