Manchester City went into the new campaign facing the challenge of trying to follow the greatest season in the club's history. Just how do you top the Treble?

The Blues and their manager Pep Guardiola talked a good game, speaking of their ambition to do the Treble again this year, and maybe even achieve more with a quadruple and the Club World Cup to go for. But the Quad is already off the table with a Carabao Cup departure at the hands of Newcastle, and a perfect first six games in the Premier League has been spoiled by two defeats in a row.

But City are only a couple of points below Tottenham and Arsenal at the top, and are cruising in the Champions League group stages, so there's clearly no need to panic just yet.
