Tributes flood in for 'vibrant' dad with 'contagious smile' tragically found dead beside playing fields

Tributes have been flooding in for a 'vibrant' dad with a 'contagious smile' who was tragically found dead in Little Hulton.

Jay Dymott, was described fondly in public tributes as 'a top bloke' who was 'loved by everyone'. He was found dead after emergency services were called to the Amblecote Playing Fields, off Cleggs Lane, at around 4.25pm on February 18.

Bolton Coroner's Office has since confirmed to the Manchester Evening News that a file has been prepared for the coroner, with an inquest into Jay's death expected to open within the coming week.

Forensics and police were scrambled to the playing fields after responding to concerns for the welfare of a male. Jay was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Following his death, public tributes have flooded in on social media, as one person wrote: "Such a top bloke. Had a lot of time for him. Always had this great vibrant friendly energy about him."

Another posted: "What an absolute amazing man, life and soul of any rave I went too and sad to say your gone and won't be at another! You'll be missed by so many, you always had the best laughs and jokes. Till we meet again rest in paradise."

A third wrote: "Sleep tight Jay. What a guy you was. Always had a smile on your face and loved a good rave."

"I can't believe this has happened u were a true friend an absolute genuine guy," another person penned. "Ur gunna be truly missed. Rest easy my mate."

A post on a public GoFundMe page, set up to support Jay's family after his death, said: "Well never in a million years did we ever think we would be doing this.
