Traore, Nakamba, Konsa - Aston Villa injury and team news update ahead of Brighton clash

Aston Villa will look to bounce back from a disappointing defeat against Watford when they take on Brighton and Hove Albion at the AMEX Stadium on Saturday.

A 1-0 loss against the Hornets at the weekend saw Villa extend their winless run to three games with Steven Gerrard's side picking up just a point in the trio of outings.

Saturday's opponents also had a day to forget at the weekend, falling to a comfortable 3-0 defeat against relegation-threatened Burnley on Saturday.

It means that both teams will be looking for a reaction when they meet in Sussex.

One positive from the weekend for Villa was the continued return from injury of Leon Bailey, who again came on as a second-half substitute.

Gerrard will also be able to call on at least one more player for the trip to Brighton.
