Traffic chaos LIVE updates amid long queues on FOUR Greater Manchester motorways
Drivers are facing rush hour misery on four Greater Manchester motorways amid a string of incidents.
Huge queues have built up on the M60 anticlockwise between junction 10 for the Trafford Centre, all the way back to Simister Island at junction 18.
Those queues are continuing on the M62 westbound as far as junction 19, for Heywood and Middleton.
One lane of traffic is closed on the M60 between junctions 10 and 11, due to a broken down vehicle.
The incident is also having an impact on the M61, with queues of around 25 minutes for southbound traffic approaching Manchester from Bolton and Lancashire.
Meanwhile, one lane is closed on the M602 eastbound approaching Manchester following a multi-vehicle crash.
The incident is affecting traffic between junction two at Gilda Brook Road, and junction three for the Regent Road roundabout, in Salford.
Drivers are facing three-mile queues approaching the scene, according to National Highways.
Queues have also built on the M60 anticlockwise between junction 19, near Heaton Park, and Simister Island following a collision.
Traffic was also briefly stopped earlier this morning on the M6 southbound between junctions 27 at Standish and 26 at the Orrell Interchange, near Wigan, following an 'obstruction'. The incident has since cleared.
