Tour de France Femmes: Date, stages, how to watch and everything to know

History will be made this weekend as the Tour de France Femmes, sponsored by virtual cycling platform Zwift, gets underway in Paris.

There have been variations of the race over the years, but it will be the first time the event is officially held by the men’s Tour de France organisers.

It takes the form of an eight-stage race contested over 1,029 kilometres, starting in Paris and ending at Super Planche des Belles Filles.
