Tottenham suffer double injury blow as EIGHT now ruled out of crunch title clash vs Man City

Ange Postecoglou has confirmed a double injury blow for his Tottenham side ahead of their Premier League clash with Manchester City.

Spurs welcome City hoping to keep their slim Champions League qualification hopes alive - although Aston Villa could end those chances with victory on Monday night. With an injury list already containing six big names, Postecoglou has confirmed two more injury blows to hamper their preparations against City.

Richarlison had already missed their win over Burnley at the weekend and had been left out of Brazil's Copa America squad due to injury, and now midfielder Yves Bissouma has also been ruled out.

"Not good [news]," said Postecoglou of Richarlison. "He'll miss the next two games. Nothing serious. Bissouma unfortunately picked up a knee injury so he'll miss the last two games. Other than that everyone who was available is available."

That means the six names already ruled out will also be unavailable, meaning eight players will be absent for Spurs as they attempt to end their home campaign on a high.

Destiny Udogie, Ben Davies and Timo Werner have been ruled out for the season, along with Ryan Sessegnon, Fraser Forster and Manor Solomon.

Postecoglou also hit back at Spurs fans wanting their side to lose so City can stop rivals Arsenal winning the title, telling them: "If you're going by social media then 99% of them will [want Spurs to lose] but please don't tell me that's your world.
