Tottenham star is loving what Gareth Bale has just posted on Instagram

The Welshman caused something of a stir this week on social media after photos of him emerged during Real Madrid training which left some Madrid fans wondering whether or not he was losing muscle mass in his legs.

Bale quickly responded to the post by putting up a picture on his own Instagram page, with an arrow pointing to his legs along with a crying with laughter emoji, as if to indicate that he is as strong as ever when it comes to his legs.

The post then saw a flood of comments from fellow professionals like Marcelo, Sergio Ramos and Joe Ledley. Spurs defender Reguilon also chimed in with his remarks, as he copied Bale and posted two crying emojis of his own:

The two were of course teammates at Real Madrid, as well as at Tottenham when Bale came on loan last season, and it’s good to see that the two are still communicating somewhat and enjoying some light-hearted banter between them.

Could this be a subtle hint that the friendship is still going strong, and that the two might be set to pair up once again in the near future?

There have been reports in Spain to suggest that Real Madrid will be taking the 25-year-old back to the Bernabeu, and even though Bale’s contract at Madrid is ending this season, there might still be time for them to offer him a new one, so Reguilon’s movements might be something to keep an eye on in the coming months.
