Tottenham should "try and sign" 30 y/o who Conte rates, club "open" to sale - transfer insider

Tottenham should try to sign Chelsea midfielder Jorginho to bolster their midfield options, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

It is understood that Antonio Conte wants to strengthen his side in the middle of the park, and Jones has suggested that Jorginho could be a good fit for the north London club.

The summer transfer window promises to be a fascinating one at Tottenham, with the club set to offload a number of players, while also looking to bring in suitable replacements.

The Evening Standard has reported that Conte wants to sign a midfielder with similar characteristics to Jorginho to improve his team, having praised the 30-year-old for his performances at international level last year.

Jorginho is set to enter the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge this summer.
