Tottenham: Paratici has now 'looked at' £70m trio at Hotspur Way

Tottenham Hotspur managing director Fabio Paratici and head coach Antonio Conte have set their sights on luring a ‘right-sided Ivan Perisic’ to Hotspur Way ahead of the fast-approaching transfer deadline, according to journalist Dean Jones.

Perisic became Spurs’ first signing of the summer window as the north Londoners moved quickly to secure his services ahead of his Inter Milan contract’s expiry.

According to The Telegraph, Tottenham have reignited their interest in Atletico Madrid star Yannick Carrasco and opened talks ahead of tomorrow’s 11pm deadline.

The report suggests Conte is prepared to strike a deal after failing in his attempts to secure the 57-cap Belgium international’s services in January, while Manchester United have also considered testing the La Liga side’s resolve.

Leeds United winger Dan James has worked his way onto Spurs’ radar and a loan, which includes a buy option, has been discussed amid additional interest from Premier League rivals Everton.

Spurs were in the running to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Adama Traore, who has been described as ‘unbelievable’ by Manchester City star Jack Grealish, ahead of his loan switch to Barcelona in January.

The north Londoners’ interest has not gone away, but Wolves are reportedly pricing Traore out of a deal despite his wish to head to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Jones understands that Paratici has made the addition of a right-sided talent, who has similar attributes to Perisic, one of his priorities.

The transfer insider is aware that Carrasco, James and Traore – who are valued at just over £70million by Transfermarkt – are under consideration, but the latter’s price tag has been increased with the deadline looming.
