Tottenham: Fresh update emerges on Harry Kane's future

Harry Kane’s future at Tottenham won’t be resolved until the summer months, according to Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge.

Kane’s future at his boyhood club remains in doubt, with Manchester United the latest side to join the race for his signature.

According to The Athletic, the Red Devils, who were credited with an interest alongside Manchester City and Chelsea last summer, are once again keen on signing the England captain.

United have doubts over both Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani‘s futures at Old Trafford, and the report says that the 28-year-old would be amongst their ‘prime’ targets.

They still want to sign Kane regardless of who’s their manager next term, with Ajax boss Erik ten Hag recently interviewed, while former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is also in the conversation.

Kane’s future at Spurs could hinge on whether they end up qualifying for the Champions League and if Antonio Conte stays at the club after previously hinting that he could walk away from his post.

Despite increased speculation, Kane’s form has been outstanding in recent weeks, with the striker scoring seven goals in his last seven Premier League games, which led to him being nominated for the March player of the month award.

And Bridge, doesn’t think that Kane, who was involved in all three goals in the recent win over West Ham, will decide his next move until the summer.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “I think his future is on hold until the end of the season. I think anything you read on the back pages at the moment is filling papers.”
