Tottenham are just five transfers away from completing Antonio Conte's squad overhaul

Antonio Conte's arrival at Tottenham Hotspur in November gave supporters hope that their post-Mauricio Pochettino slump would soon be ending.

Pochettino's men qualified for the UEFA Champions League in four of his five full seasons at the helm, a hugely impressive feat when you consider the fact that his predecessors had qualified for the competition just once since the Premier League was formed back in 1992.

Since the Argentine's sacking just over two years ago, the Lillywhites have struggled for consistency and often been accused of a weak underbelly, criticism that has rarely been levelled at any side managed by Conte.

The veteran coach can boast league titles at each of his last three clubs and the Italian's goal will undoubtedly be to help Harry Kane and Co challenge the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool at the top of the English top-flight.

Now, takes a look at the five transfers that the north Londoners will need to make if they are to give Conte the necessary tools to bring silverware to N17 for the first time since 2008.

Current no.1 Hugo Lloris penned a new two-year contract with the club last month but Spurs captain's competition has been a long way off his level in recent times.
