Tony Browne joining Cahill in Tipperary set-up
Tony Browne will again link up with Liam Cahill, with the former Waterford star joining Cahill's management ticket in Tipperary.
Browne, the 1998 Hurler of the Year, was part of the Déise set-up this year, a campaign where the county enjoyed league success in the spring, before exiting the championship at the round-robin phase in Munster.
Liam Cahill subsequently stood down as Waterford boss, but was soon handed the reins in his native county. He recently named a a 40-man 'pre-league' training panel that includes veterans Seamus Callanan and Patrick 'Bonner' Maher.
Browne, who had been expected to remain in Waterford and work alongside Davy Fitzgerald, will now look to aid the cause of the Premier next year, this after a most disappointing 2022.
