To start Todd Boehly's era in style, it would only be right for the Blues to start eyeing some marquee signings. The type of signings that will make a statement to the football world. Of course, links to Raheem Sterling and Ousmane Dembele sound amazing and can pass as big boy signings, but imagine a Neymar Jr transfer.

Reports claim that the Brazilian could be leaving Paris St Germain this summer if the right offer comes along. Neymar has been with the Ligue 1 champions for five years now, and quite frankly, it's time for a change. He's conquered Spain and France, so there are only three leagues left where he can make his mark. The Premier League will provide the spotlight that he needs to carry on his legacy.

The Blues' priority is to fix their defence but not too far down the list is finding an attacker that could provide a creative edge. Despite Neymar now being 30, he is still performing at a magnificent level and will undoubtedly be a positive addition to the team. He may feel like a Roman Abramovich-era signing with the flashy name and proven track record, but he can also set the tone for the Boehly era.

Chelsea almost signed Neymar in the past. Michael Emenalo was very close to making history by signing Brazil's wunderkind back in 2013. Emenalo, Chelsea's former technical director, sold the move by claiming that Neymar would become Football's "Michael Jordan" if he were to move to west London.
