Toby Collyer and Jadon Sancho start in Manchester United predicted line-up vs Real Betis

Manchester United will be going in search of their first win of their pre-season tour of the United States when they face Real Betis in San Diego.

United, who last faced the Spanish club in the Europa League last year, lost their opening game of their stay on the other side of the Atlantic over the weekend, being beaten 2-1 by Arsenal. Gabriel Martinelli stepped off the bench to net a late winner for the Gunners.

The defeat, however, meant very little to United in the grand scheme of things, as they lost both Rasmus Hojlund and Leny Yoro to injuries before half-time. Hojlund was forced off just minutes after scoring the game's opening goal before Yoro hobbled off just past the half-hour mark.

United are yet to confirm the extent of the issues, but it is likely they will both miss the clash at the Snapdragon Stadium. Erik ten Hag has changed his entire crop of outfield players at half-time in each of United's first three friendlies this summer, deploying a stronger XI prior to the break.

Expected to continue with that trend against Betis, Andre Onana is in line to start in goal once again. He has played the duration of the clashes with Rangers and Arsenal after playing no part at all against Rosenborg earlier this month.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, despite West Ham United's ongoing interest in him, is expected to start at right-back in the continued absence of Diogo Dalot. Jonny Evans could start in place of Yoro and partner Harry Maguire in the heart of the defence with youngster Harry Amass deployed at left-back for the second game running.
