'To be honest...' - Insider claims big Everton departure is now 'almost certain'

Everton forward Richarlison is almost certain to leave Goodison Park this summer following a disastrous campaign for the Toffees. 

Football insider Dean Jones has been speaking about the Brazilian’s future of the latest edition of the Touchline Talk show amid links to a potential Premier League switch.

Reports have emerged in recent weeks suggesting the 24-year-old could be a possible target for Manchester United in the summer.

However, Jones admitted he struggles to see Richarlison making the switch to Old Trafford but does see him leaving Goodison Park for a move abroad with a number of clubs also said to be interested.

And Jones feels a move to Paris Saint-Germain could be a real possibility for the forward with his future at Everton all-but over ahead of the summer window:

“They’re [Manchester United] going to need somebody to come in. Like Richarlison knows the league, fits the bill. I’m just not convinced that that’s going to happen. I’m not sure it’s a match.”

“Yeah, I think PSG will be in the frame again. I think it’s almost certain that Richarlison will leave Everton. I’d be very surprised if he hung around for another season. To be honest, I’m surprised he was there for the entirety of this season. So I do expect change there.”

TIF Thoughts on Richarlison’s future…

We are interested to see how the Brazilian’s future will pan out at Goodison following the conclusion of what has been a really disappointing campaign.

And we do wonder whether it will even matter if Frank Lampard’s side are able to retain their top-flight status with Jones’s co-presenter, Pete O’Rourke, claiming Richarlison wants to play Champions League football:
