Customers are being urged to check their kitchen cupboards, fridges and freezers after a number of food products were recalled from various supermarkets.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issues recalls for a variety of reasons, including when products contain allergens that are not disclosed on the packaging or if plastic is detected in the item.

TJX Europe are recalling several Sultans Turkish Delights products, because they contain milk which is not mentioned on the label. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

TriOn Pharma is recalling two food supplement products. Aactive D3 Drops and Aactive D3 Solution because they contain higher levels of vitamin D3 than written on the label.
Excessive intakes of vitamin D can cause various adverse health effects because of hypercalcaemia (high blood calcium level).
