TikTok sensations loved by the Jonas Brothers to bring 'spud-a-thon' to Greater Manchester for one day only

TikTok sensations Spud Bros will be heading to Greater Manchester on Friday as part of a whopping 30-hour 'spud-a-thon' taking place across the UK.

Jacob and Harvey Nelson, who have had more than 108.4m likes on the social media platform, garnered a reputation online for their takeaway van in Preston - which has seen people travel from all over the world to try. They have even gained fans in the form of American music sensations the Jonas Brothers.

On Friday (November 15), the 'bros' will be turning up in MediaCity with their Hot Potato Tram - which has been in the Lancashire city since 1955. They took over the tram a year ago from their dad, who is now known globally as Spud Dad.

Following a boost in sales, the brothers recently upgraded the tram, making it larger to allow themselves to keep up with the growing demand and take it on the road.

In support of Children In Need, they are hosting a 30 hour ‘Spudathon’ where they will be selling their famous jacket potatoes to raise money for the children that “truly do need it.” Their appearance in Salford also happens to coincide with the charity TV show airing from the BBC Studios at MediaCity tomorrow night.

As part of their pop-up stop in Greater Manchester, people will also be able to try out a limited edition ‘Spudsy’ potato as part of the money raising event - which is made up of cheese, beans, crispy onions, nacho cheese sauce and spots of coloured mayo to resemble the ones on the mascot Pudsey Bear.
