Ticketless Celtic fan 'sneaks into' Rangers clash by posing as kiosk staff as madcap scheme goes viral

A ticketless Celtic fan claims to have conned his way into Sunday’s title decider by posing as a member of Ibrox stadium kiosk staff.

The supporter revealed on Twitter that they applied for a job as a kiosk assistant to gain access to the stadium. But, after arriving on the day of the game, he ran away from his duties and hid in the toilets until Celtic ’s fans arrived in the ground and then blended in with visiting supporters in the away end to watch his side’s 2-1 win.

The story was revealed by Twitter user @joem4d1n3 who said:

"Met a kid yesterday in ground who’d applied for a job as kiosk worker decked out head to toe in work gear and he’d to start at 9am.”

“He got into ground to work he hid in toilets til Celtic fans got in then was bouncing about with us all day.”

The infiltrator then revealed himself. A supporter who uses the handle @calanclarkk1 then laid claim to being the fan saying: "Hahahaha here I am m8. Feet are killing me wearing they shoes all day."

As proof, he then posted a picture of the application form for the role as a kiosk assistant at Ibrox and an image of himself in the away end, with the words: "Hahaha wit a day I had yesterday. League over."

Rangers took an early lead after three minutes, when Aaron Ramsey swept home, but goals from Tom Rogic and Cameron Carter-Vickers secured Celtic a crucial victory in the Premiership title race leaving them six points ahead with six games left.
