Throwback to DK Metcalf's insane stiff arm from 2020 after his contract extension

DK Metcalf’s incredible stiff arm for the Seattle Seahawks against the New York Giants in 2020 is just one of the reasons they decided to give him a contract extension.

The Seattle Seahawks are going through a rebuilding stage at the moment, and on the surface it doesn’t exactly look like the prettiest rebuild that an NFL team is going to have to go through.

Not only did they trade franchise quarterback Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos in one of the more surprising moves across the league this offseason, but they also released perennial All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner, allowing him to move to the Los Angeles Rams, their division rivals.

But there is one signing light that they can hold onto as they move forward. Whilst they might not be sure what is going to happen at quarterback moving forward, be it Geno Smith, Drew Lock or someone that they take in the 2023 NFL Draft, they know that the man that’s going to be on the receiving end of their passes will be DK Metcalf.

In his first season in the league, he hauled in 900 yards and 7 touchdowns in the regular season, before turning around and putting up 219 yards and a further touchdown in the Seahawks’ two games in the 2019 playoffs. He’s since managed to put up a total of 3,170 yards and 29 touchdowns in his three years in the NFL.

Part of his dominance comes down to his physique, which he is never shy of showing off, even getting head coach Pete Carroll
