Three ways Antonio Conte can line up his Tottenham side with transfer deadline day arrivals

There will be some decisions for Antonio Conte to make as he tries to figure out his strongest Tottenham starting line-up, after two new signings on deadline day.

Rodrigo Bentancur was the first to be announced and the Uruguay international has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with Spurs.

His former Juventus teammate, Dejan Kulusevski, also signed for the Lilywhites on the last day of the January transfer window, but his move to north London is a loan with an option to buy.

Both players will hope to make an instant impact on their new team and, more importantly, their new boss.

Both ex-Juventus players can add some much needed attacking play to the Tottenham side, which Bentancur has already shown with his goal for Uruguay scored in the first minute on Tuesday evening against Venezuela.

Conte may need some time to find the best fit for his new arrivals, but takes a look at how he could line up his current Spurs squad.

Cristian Romero's return will likely reignite the back three, playing alongside Eric Dier and Ben Davies, both of whom have performed well in recent matches.

The Italian might decide to stick to the 3-4-3 set-up he favours most and has often used since being in charge of the Lilywhites.

Bentancur has played in a central midfield position the most, in his 26 appearances in all competitions for Juventus so far this season.

Pierre Emile Hojbjerg has played alongside Oliver Skipp on a number of occasions so far this season and the Dane acts as a leader in the middle of the field.

To give the central midfield position the balance of defence and attack, as well as helping the Uruguayan international settle into Premier League football, it may be Hojbjerg that Conte chooses to play alongside him.
