Daniel Levy has been told to give Antonio Conte three transfer windows after the Tottenham manager sparked controversy in a recent interview.

Conte was appointed following the dismissal of Nuno Espirito Santo with the hope of firing Spurs back into the top four of the Premier League.

While performances have undoubtedly improved, plenty of frustration remains at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Those frustrations have not escaped Conte either, if his latest interview is anything to go by, with the club reportedly asking he no longer speaks to the Italian media in the aftermath.

One of his most controversial points was claiming Spurs had just a 1% chance of finishing in the top four this season, a claim he moved to clear up on Friday.

"During my interview, I said this and like always, before going to Inter Milan and my first interview, they asked me about the target, and I said I needed to feel 1% possibility to win," he told his pre-match press conference.

"In that case with Inter Milan we were talking about winning the league because don’t forget I'm used to fighting
