Three Manchester United players have proved Jose Mourinho right after scathing new claims
Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho divided opinion during his time at Old Trafford.
He was a polarising figure who fans either loved or hated. There was very little middle ground.
No surprise, then, that with United at yet another lowest ebb, Mourinho has not minced his words about some members of the United dressing room. In an interview with The Telegraph, the Portuguese coach said: "There are still a couple of players still there I didn’t want five or six years ago. I think they represent a little bit what I consider not the best professional profile to a club of a certain dimension."

In true Mourinho style, he left that comment without naming who he wanted to leave the club. In total, there are six players still at United who were there during his era - Luke Shaw, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Victor Lindelof, Scott McTominay and Diogo Dalot.
Dalot was signed by Mourinho just a few months before he was sacked by the club. McTominay and Rashford were both given game time by Mourinho, too.
While Rashford was sometimes criticised by his old manager, Mourinho has stressed he wanted to see the Englishman on the wing rather than as a centre-forward. This leaves three players who sadly the 61-year-old is right to have wanted gone.
Shaw is United's current longest-serving first-team player and, when fit, he is an asset to the Reds. However, his injury record this season has unfortunately been a hindrance to the club.
United's squad is in desperate need of players who can survive the ever-increasing demands of the Premier League, Europe and domestic cup competitions and,
