Three Man United stars drop early team news hints as Ruben Amorim makes Viktoria Plzen decision

Manchester United return to Europa League action on Thursday away to Viktoria Plzen (5.45pm).

Ruben Amorim's side will be looking to bounce back from consecutive defeats in the Premier League to Arsenal and Nottingham Forest when they travel to Czechia. United currently sit 12th in the league phase table, which would guarantee them a play-off tie, but will be looking for a top-eight finish to secure automatic qualification for the last-16 as they target a first European trophy since 2017.

And several players have hinted they will feature against Plzen. Diogo Dalot, Leny Yoro and Casemiro are among the names to have uploaded pre-match graphics of the game on their Instagram stories.

It has become difficult to predict Amorim's starting line-ups for matches - with the Portuguese yet to discover his best XI. However, historically speaking, players who share pre-match graphics on social media profiles have tended to be in the team come kick-off, or at least involved in some capacity.

United currently sit 13th in the Premier League table, too, eight points off a top-four place which will guarantee a Champions League spot. The Reds will be aware that winning the Europa League will also secure a spot in Europe's marquee competition next season, although Amorim is not considering that to be an easier route.
