Three-car M4 crash causes six miles of queues
There is heavy traffic on the M4 near Bridgend after a crash. The M4 westbound was partially blocked after a crash between J34 A4119 (Miskin) and J35 A473 (Pencoed).
A VW Golf collided with the central reservation, and two cars were also involved in the incident. Police were called to the scene shortly after 1.10pm.
The motorway is now clear, but traffic monitoring system INRIX is reporting that there is still heavy traffic on the motorway. The statement released by South Wales Police said: "Shortly after 1.10pm today emergency services were called to a road traffic collision on the westbound carriageway of the M4 between junctions 34 and 35.
"A VW golf has collided with the central reservation. Two other cars were also involved in the incident. The motorway is now clear."
