Three arrested in heroin raid as police target Warrington home

Police made three arrests after raiding a home in Warrington. Two men and one woman were arrested on suspicion being concerned in the supply of heroin.

At around 11am on Tuesday, February 13, officers executed a warrant at an address on Alder Lane, Warrington. A number of items were seized following a search of the house - including approximately £20,000 in cash and a large quantity of heroin, with an estimated value of around £11,000.

A 49-year-old man is being held in police custody and is currently being questioned by officers. A 22-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman have since been released on conditional bail.

The warrants were conducted as a result of information from the local community, police said. Intelligence supplied by members of the public is vital and anyone with any information about suspected drug related activity in their community to get in touch.
