This Morning viewers fume she 'deserves more' as Josie Gibson forced to issue explanation and says 'sorry'

This Morning viewers were left unimpressed as Josie Gibson returned to the programme. The presenter was back on the ITV daytime show but wasn't live in the studio with main hosts Holly Willoughby and Craig Doyle.

She was sent off to Clacton where she presented her first link live aboard the town's open-top bus, the Clacton Breeze, which has recently returned for its summer season. So Josie was sent out to give it a spin and stopped off at Clacton Pier to see why it had recently been named 'Pier of the Year'.

But things got a bit concerning when Josie was atop the open-top bus when the sea breeze kicked in. However, the former Big Brother winner did say she had been given "special permission" to stand up while the bus was in motion to chat to other passengers and praised her cameraman colleague for his handiwork.

However, things didn't quite end as they expected as Josie was unable to show off Clacton Pier live on the show and took to Instagram to share an explanation.

Posting a video of the rain pouring down, she said: "If anyone wondered what happened on @thismorning with my live... The heavens opened up and we got water in the camera," alongside a crying emoji before adding: "Sorry guys."

But some This Morning viewers were left flocking to social media to share their annoyance at seeing Josie take on different jobs instead of being at the helm of the programme as she often is now and again.

One said: "Sorry is it just me or does @thismorning really belittle and take advantage of Josie? Like they have her on a bus taking the **** out of her. It reminds me of Bridget Jones coming down the pole.." To whcih another replied:
