This Morning viewers fume 'for the last time' as ITV show sparks 'emotional' divide

A number of This Morning viewers were left fuming when the tuned in to the first edition of the show this week. The ITV daytime programme was back on air on Monday (November 27) with Rochelle Humes and Craig Doyle at the helm.

But before the duo appeared in the London-based studio, after a festive-themed title introduction, they were nowhere to be seen as the empty studio was seen in a dark haze before a touch of Christmas magic was spread around the studio and Rochelle and Craig were seen surrounded by trees, presents and garlands.

Rochelle then opened the programme by saying: "I just cannot contain my excitement! Hello and welcome to a very festive This Morning." As crooner Michael Buble played in the background, Rochelle was lost for words as he co-star complimented the set.

Craig commented: "It’s gorgeous! It’s a gorgeous start to the week, a gorgeous start to the day. Rochelle and Craig then asked viewers to send in their images of their own festive homes, but it seemed as though the decorations were too much for some viewers and sparked a divide. @SenorApple2014 tweeted: "For the last time, it is still NOVEMBER. Cool it with your Christmas shit until December officially starts… in about 5 days from now. #ThisMorning."

@Helen909King commented: "Last time I looked
