This Morning slapped with official complaints as show makes change and Vanessa Feltz speaks out

This Morning has been slapped with a string of official complaints after the show confirmed it was making a change following Vanessa Feltz's apology. Earlier this week, the presenter appeared on the ITV daytime show to deliver her latest phone-in.

Viewers were encouraged to phone in to get Vanessa's advice on a whole host of situations as the festive season can cause tension among family and friends. During the segment on Monday's (December 18) show, a caller explained that she was being "forced" to eat a gluten-free Christmas dinner as guests attending the lunch have Coeliac disease.

Coeliac disease causes the body to attack tissues when the person consumes gluten. Vanessa offered advice, encouraging the caller to accept the situation as to not cause any Christmas arguments but some of her other comments were slammed as being "ill-informed".

After the segment aired, Coeliac UK posted a message on X, formerly known as Twitter, writing: "Today on ITV's @thismorning, coeliac disease was discussed during a phone-in segment on the show. We are deeply concerned about the content and advice given to a caller attending a Christmas family
