This Morning's Sian Welby shares new adorable snaps with baby girl and praises hidden 'hero' as TV return confirmed

Sian Welby has shared a string of new snaps of herself and her newborn daughter after jokingly praising the hidden 'hero' she came across while enjoying an outing. The Capital FM Breakfast presenter confirmed the arrival of her first child at the end of June.

Sian announced that she and partner Jake Beckett are expecting their first child back in February. She shared the news live on the Capital FM Breakfast show alongside former host Roman Kemp and co-star Chris Stark. She said at the time: "I’ve got a bit of an announcement for you... I’m pregnant! I don’t know how I’ve managed to keep it from you for so long..."

Then on June 29, Sian confirmed the safe arrival of her baby daughter, confirming her name as Ruby and shared the first adorable snaps of the bundle of joy. The first photo showed the newborn curled up with her back to the camera, showing a personalised brown cardigan with her name across the back.

Two other photos showed Sian and Jake, a radio producer, beaming with joy as they cuddled and held their first child. "Our little Ruby," Sian wrote alongside the post before adding it to her Instagram Story and writing: "Here she is!"

The This Morning star has since been sharing glimpses into her life as a new mum and on Thursday (July 11), she took to Instagram with a string of new snaps as she went out and about with baby Ruby. She was seen pushing her in her pram before enjoying a cuddle as they stopped for a break.
