This Manchester gym is re-opening under new ownership across from Piccadilly Station
Manchester fitness enthusiasts will soon have a new gym to visit with Anytime Fitness set to relaunch in the city. Its premises in Piccadilly Place, a two-minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station, will reopen later this year under new ownership and benefit from a significant six-figure transformation, featuring brand-new equipment.
Having closed three years ago, the gym has been given a new lease of life by a passionate new team aiming to support the local community’s health goals.
Vanessa Ndlovu, fitness manager at Anytime Fitness Manchester Central (Piccadilly), says: “We’re excited to be bringing Anytime Fitness back to Manchester. The location here is fantastic and plans are underway on refurbishing the site with state-of-the-art fitness equipment and amenities for our members”.
“We know the club previously closed around the height of covid and we want to reassure the local community that this is a completely fresh start under new ownership and management. We’ve been out in the local area the past few weeks and the reaction has been immense – we are delighted to be bringing Manchester’s newest 24/7 gym”.
The site will provide a fantastic level of equipment including squat racks with lifting platforms, a fully functional rig with TRX, kettlebells, grip balls, sandbags, battle ropes, endless ropes, and more.
Members can improve their cardiovascular fitness by using equipment from the brand LifeFitness, enabling people to sync their smartwatches, follow on-screen workouts, or catch up on their latest Netflix series.
