"They could move fast" - Insider drops exciting Arsenal transfer claim on £50m forward

Arsenal ‘could move fast’ to beat Premier League rivals Manchester United to the summer signing of Everton star Richarlison, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta failed to welcome a single fresh face to the Emirates Stadium during the winter window, but it appears he has already set his sights on strengthening his options ahead of next season.

According to 90min, Richarlison is eager to secure a summer exit from Everton as he looks to boost his hopes of making the Brazil squad for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.

The report suggests Arsenal are long-term admirers of the striker, who has been capped 34 times by his homeland, and the Gunners have added him to their shortlist of targets.

But the north Londoners are not Richarlison’s only suitors as Manchester United and La Liga giants Real Madrid have reportedly contacted Everton over the possibility of signing Richarlison.

However, the 24-year-old still has more than two years remaining on his £110,000-per-week contract at Goodison Park, meaning his current employers are in the driving seat should any interested parties strengthen their interest.

Richarlison has been on Everton’s books since making a big-money move, worth up to £50million, from Watford close to four years ago.

Jones believes Arsenal could win the race for Richarlison’s signature as they are in a position to move quickly.

However, the transfer insider understands other clubs have already been alerted to the Brazilian’s availability, meaning a move to the Emirates Stadium is not necessarily a forgone conclusion.

Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “I definitely think they could move fast and be the ones that land him.
