The Young Bucks: AEW stars send out 'feelers' for shock WWE move

The Young Bucks (Nick and Matt Jackson) could be looking to make a sensational switch to WWE from AEW, if reports are to be believed.

The Young Bucks, who are widely regarded as one of the best tag teams on the planet, also serve as two of AEW’s Executive Vice Presidents.

However, it seems like the pair may be considering their options, as reports state that the tag team has sent out feelers to gauge whether or not WWE would be interested in signing them.

Ryan Frederick of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Nick and Matt have spoken to wrestlers about potentially moving to WWE once their current deals with AEW are up.

Those contracts aren’t believed to be expiring until the end of 2024, but it’s interesting to note that the talented tandem are even thinking about following in the footsteps of Cody Rhodes in moving to WWE, as covered by WrestleTalk.

[The Young Bucks] reached out to a talent to send feelers that they would be interested in talking about coming in when their deals are up.

It’s worth noting that the report does state that many wrestlers are going to be doing this, in order to leverage themselves better contracts, but not many people would have expected The Young Bucks to be in that category.

It’s also worth stressing that the report states that The Bucks have spoken to talent in WWE, rather than any higher-ups in an official capacity, which would be considered contract tampering at this stage.

The Young Bucks, while not officially announced, are believed to be suspended from AEW at the moment.

Their reported suspensions from AEW stemmed from an alleged fight that the pair had, along with Kenny Omega, with CM Punk and Ace Steel backstage after All Out last weekend.
