In a nail-biting 74-70 victory, the No. 1 seed USC Trojans took down the No. 2 seed Baylor Bears Saturday at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.

Freshman star JuJu Watkins led the Trojans with 30 points and had six rebounds. She shot 12-for-13 from the free throw line. The Trojans also got a major contribution from junior center Rayah Marshall, who had 11 points and 16 rebounds.

Baylor senior guard Sarah Andrews banked in a 3-pointer to cut the Trojans' lead to 71-70 late in the fourth quarter, but clutch free throws from Watkins secured the victory for the Trojans.

USC will face the winner of the Sweet 16 matchup between the No. 1 seed Texas Longhorns and the No. 3 seed NC State Wolfpack.
