Manchester United are two games into their pre-season tour of America and have so far experienced one victory and one defeat.

Erik ten Hag's side kicked off their trip to the USA with a 2-1 defeat by Arsenal, which proved to be a disastrous evening for reasons aside from the scoreline, though responded with a 3-2 win over Real Betis on Wednesday.

Leny Yoro and Rasmus Hojlund both sustained injuries during the Arsenal fixture, the former fracturing his metatarsal to ensure he is now set to be sidelined for three months. Hojlund, meanwhile, is expected to be out for six weeks.

Such games, when not resulting in injury setbacks, are effective tests for those hoping to force their way into Ten Hag's plans and some individuals have grasped this opportunity with both hands.

Jadon Sancho has featured in both friendlies and will have aims of working his way back into contention under the Dutchman who cast him aside after a fallout behind the scenes last term.
