There was a special countdown to New Year for 10,000 ravers at Manchester's biggest club The Warehouse Project. And it involved one of the most-watched viral TV moments of the year.

For club bosses decided to use the now "iconic" finger blooper from BBC presenter Maryam Moshiri that was accidentally broadcast last month. The Warehouse Project hosted its eagerly-anticipated end-of-season party on Sunday night with a sold out rave in the city centre.

Warehouse Project boss Sacha Lord shared the moment that clubbers started their countdown to 2024 on X, formerly known as Twitter. And followers were quick to hail it a "superb" move.

Sacha shared the video on X, and said: "Thank you @BBCMaryam for helping count the New Year in for 10,000 ravers in Manchester last night @WHP_Mcr."
