Sasha has competed in three Hell in a Cell matches (honourable mention to her battle with Becky Lynch in 2019), but this is the best of them and is the best women’s Hell in a Cell match we’ve seen thus far in WWE.
As the Golden Role Models, Bayley and Banks had owned most of 2020, cleaning up all the gold across both brands before the inevitable implosion of the pair led to this meeting inside the steel structure.
A rivalry packed with layers, dating back to their classics in NXT, Hell in a Cell was the perfect setting to finally settle the score between two of WWE’s biggest stars. The women used a plethora of weapons throughout the match, including kendo sticks, chairs, and tables, but it was Banks’ unique application of The Boss Statement that ended things. Wrapping Bayley’s head around a steel chair to see her gain revenge on her former friend and get his first win inside the steel.
