The Traitors US season three is set to debut in the UK with fans eager to watch the celebrity-filled reality show.

Presenter Alan Cumming will once again host this game of deception, which, like its UK counterpart, takes place in the Scottish highlands with contestants vying for a prize of up to $250,000.

The US adaptation stands out due to its all-star cast, and the third season promises to be no different.

This year's line-up includes Dolores Catania from Real Housewives of New Jersey, Dylan Efron - brother of Zac Efron, Selling Sunset's Chrishell Stause, and Britney Spears' ex-husband Sam Asghari.

The release date for The Traitors US season three in the UK has been confirmed. It will premiere on the same day as the finale of The Traitors UK season three.

This grand finale will air on Friday, January 24, on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with the US series also dropping in the UK.

The first five episodes of the American version will be released on January 24 on BBC iPlayer, with subsequent episodes being released every Friday at 6am starting from Friday, January 31.

UK fans won't lag far behind their US counterparts, with episodes being released the day after they're aired on Peacock in America.

The synopsis teases a dark and deceitful game: "Under the cover of darkness, the Traitors murder the Faithful one by one in a treacherous spree, while the Faithful try to uncover the Traitors and banish them from the game.

"If the Faithful contestants banish all the Traitors, they will share the prize fund, but if a Traitor or Traitors makes it to the end, they will steal all the money."
