The Rock vs Roman Reigns: Fan-made video of Dwayne Johnson interrupting WWE champion
An incredible fan edit has predicted what Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson‘s long-awaited return to WWE SmackDown would be like.
The video, posted on YouTube by DakkidEdits, begins with Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman in the ring holding up the SmackDown belt, before The Rock’s legendary entrance music plays.
With the footage taken from when he made a special appearance on his 25th anniversary, The Rock walks across the stage greeting fans and pointing to the ring.
The Brahma Bull then removes his jacket and places it over the camera, making the screen black as he makes his way towards the ring.
The video then cuts to Reigns saying: “My special counsel tells me that you are here to follow suit, to do what John Cena does and acknowledge me.”
It then cuts to The Rock, who says: “So you think you are superior than The Rock, you think you are superior than all of them [crowd], you also think you are more superior than my boy LeBron James, is that what you think?”
The screen goes black, then the Rock shouts: “IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK.”
Viewers were left stunned by the video, with one commenting: “Seriously, this is one of the most realistic WWE returns editing video I’ve ever seen.”
Another said: “I think this edit was very well done compared to soooo many others I’ve seen in the past and now. Good job to whomever made this!!”
The Rock is not returning to WWE anytime soon, but it doesn’t mean that he will never return to the ring.
His last ‘match’ was at WrestleMania 32, when he beat Erick Rowan in six seconds to set the record for the fastest win in ‘Mania history.
Although, the showdown between The Rock and Reigns was heavily teased in one of the recent episodes of Young Rock.
