Roman Reigns fully broke character with beautiful promo at WWE London show

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns main evented the live event in London, England last night.

‘The Tribal Chief’ defeated Scotland’s own Drew McIntyre in the show’s main event to retain both of his belts.

However, it was what happened with Reigns after the match had finished that really caught the attention of the fans.

After the match had finished, Roman took to the mic to cut a babyface promo for the fans at the 02 Arena.

Reigns said that it had been far too long since he’d travelled to the UK for a show, and said the fans made him “feel special”.

Roman was fully out of character for whole promo, really playing up to the fans as you can see below, and it was quite something to behold.

Roman even repsonded to a fan in the crowd who chanted “welcome back”, by saying that “it’s good to be back”, making for quite a touching moment.

Roman then told the fans in attendance at the London show that he loved them, and urged them all to get home safely.

Before his promo was out, Roman also told a fan that “The Rock can get it too”, keeping that plate spinning for the feud that could be happening at some stage next year.

Reigns plays a heel on TV, so you can tell that he absoutely relishes the opportunity to play up to the fans and be a fan favourite at non-televised WWE shows, just as he was last night.

Roman Reigns will be in action at WrestleMania Backlash on May 8, when he teams up with his cousins, The Usos.

The Bloodline will team up to take on RK-Bro and Drew McIntyre in a six-man tag team match that is more than likely going to main event the show.
