The players that will leave Coventry City on a free this summer unless contracts are renewed

With the current campaign set to reach a crescendo next month, it will be intriguing to see whether Coventry City are able to end the term on a positive note by picking some victories in their upcoming fixtures.

Whereas it is important to note that the Sky Blues are still capable of securing a top-six finish, they will need to rely heavily on results elsewhere as they are currently six points adrift of Sheffield United who occupy the final play-off spot.

Considering that it is more than likely that Coventry will be preparing for another year in the Championship this summer, manager Mark Robins will need to decide whether to keep some of the individuals whose contracts expire following the culmination of the 2021/22 campaign.

Jodi Jones

Jodi Jones’ deal with Coventry is set to end in June but the club do have the option to extend his stay for another 12 months.

Whether the Sky Blues opt to trigger this clause in the winger’s contract remains to be seen as he has struggled to maintain his fitness in recent seasons.

Jones has only featured on seven occasions for Coventry in the Championship during the current campaign due to his ongoing battles with injury.

Josh Pask

After featuring in the Sky Blues’ League Cup defeat to Northampton Town in August, Josh Pask was forced to watch on from the sidelines until January when he sealed a loan move to Newport County.

The defender has since gone on to make seven appearances for the Welsh outfit in the fourth-tier and is scheduled to return to the Coventry Building Society Arena in May.
