The most exciting restaurants and bars coming to Manchester in 2024

Even though times are tough for hospitality businesses right now, it hasn't stopped new and established restaurateurs from dreaming up new and exciting restaurant and bar concepts. We're not even into the New Year yet, but already we're readying ourselves for a bumper year of openings across Greater Manchester.

In 2023 we were treated to a strong roster - from Lucky Cat, Gordon Ramsay’s swish Pan-Asian restaurant and robata grill to Gail's, the hit London-born bakery chain which has quickly embedded itself into Manchester's rich and varied hospitality landscape. We also welcomed a huge new food and drink hub in the form of Diecast, and a number of late-night drinking spots like Red Light, Disorder and Mean-Eyed Cat.

In 2024, and dotted around the city, a plethora of new and exciting openings are set to open their doors in the next few months - giving a further boost to the region’s reputation as one of the best for food and drink. Expect chefs with Michelin-star credentials, canalside brasseries and a upscale eateries from some of the most exciting hotel brands.
