The moment Ange named Son his Tottenham captain blows fans away as incredible behind the scenes footage emerges

Tottenham fans have been blown away after an incredible clip showing the moment Ange Postecoglou named Son as his replacement captain for Harry Kane.

Postecoglou left Celtic for Spurs earlier this summer and his direct and transparent approach to management has captured fans' attentions. They don't start their season until Sunday when they face Brentford but the cut of Postecoglou's jib, as well as the all-action brand of football that has been on show in pre-season, has already made him a popular figure.

He's had his fair share of obstacles to contend with already having just lost his skipper Kane to Bayern Munich. And on Saturday, the eve of their Premier League campaign starting, it was announced that South Korean forward Son will take the armband.

And Spurs shared footage of the moment it was announced on Twitter in which Postecoglou's hair-raising speech had the squad eating out the palm of his hand. In the below clip he's heard saying:"We need some leadership within that group with the new season coming and I've made the decision that Sonny will be our new captain for this next year, mate, so congratulations.

"Leadership is about behaviour, that's it. If you train well, if you doing something in the game that inspires the rest, that's leadership."
