Planning a short break with the family can be tricky, making sure everyone's needs are met.

The INNSiDE by Meliá Hotel is on First Street, next to art space HOME, which hosts a family-friendly theatre shows and cinema events throughout the year. It's within walking distance of Manchester's newest arts space Aviva Studios, home of Factory International, and is ideal for families looking to explore the city on foot.
With pooches welcome too, it means the family dog can join in on the trip too, with a dog-sitting service if you need to leave them behind for a little while.
Running from May 26 to 31, the kids eat free offer means a child up to the age of 11 gets a free main meal and drink when accompanied by a paying adult.
Gino's new Italian restaurant and bar was unveiled inside the hotel earlier this year following an extensive £800k refurbishment of the First Street venue's existing restaurant space. Celebrity chef Gino's team were previously operating it under the First Street Bar & Kitchen brand.
It follows the success of Gino’s restaurants in Newcastle and Liverpool, where there are also family-friendly INNSiDE by Melia hotels.
INNSiDE Newcastle is located on the city’s iconic Quayside offering unparalleled views across the River Tyne. It's close to the city centre and transport links and is near the Life Science Centre, an ideal day out for families to explore.
